The US dollar vs Canadian dollar rate is doing better lately.
Yesterday the offical (average buy/sell) rate was $1US = $1.4945Cdn
Bank of Canada foreign rates (http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/)
You can buy $1US at $1.5125Cdn (plus any fees) at TD bank
TD Bank buy/sell foreign rates (http://www.tdcommercialbanking.com/tradefinance/rates.jsp)
So maybe for any Canadians that are wanting to buy items from the US; you might want to do some buying before the US dollar picks-up strength against our dollar.
Or buy some US dollars & store them in a US dollar bank account for later use (like vacationing, GA Picnic, etc...).
