My car is getting pretty bouncy so I'll be looking for some struts. The Monroe are available at Canadian Tire (I think it's AutoZone or Pepboys in the US) and I never think of anything from there as good. Are they equivilent or better than OEM? They are definately cheaper. There is a deal right now where you buy 1 Monroe Sensatrac (black ones which they say are premium) and get the second for half price. If you buy four, you get up to a $75 CAN rebate. Any opinions on these.

Ive got monroes in the rear of the car, and they are pretty good. Definitely comparable to oem ride wise.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe Monroe is OEM for all GM vehicles. I've never heard anything bad about Monroes, but some people on this site love the KYB's. Just so you know what's out there.

Do either the KYB's or Monroe's help stiffen up the handling. That would definately be a plus? Thanks for the replies

KYB's are 25-30% stiffer than stock, and Monroes are about the same.
