Did you change the any front light bulbs lately?

I would check to see if the last time the headlight housing was taken out, that the 3-aimer pieces were put back correctly.

Make sure the headlight bulbs is all the way into the housing & is in the 'right way' up.

Check to see if the headlight retaining ring has brokened.

Is there a simple way to tell which way is the "right way" up for the bulb? I had installed my bulbs previously, hit the hi beams, and the beams went down, so i flipped the bulbs over. But, now of course they are too high, and when i aim them down, the housings stick out like a crack addicts eye balls.

Here we go again :)

The "flat" part of the bulb connector goes UP.

Starfire wrote GREAT aiming guidelines, they are in the how-to section. First prerequisite is that your bulb is in correctly... installation instructions also in the how-to section.

Easiest thing to do is take the housings all the way "in" the car, then work from there. If you still have problems after reading the few threads on this, PM me or IM me, I'll help you out.

For aiming.. I think the correct size socket to fit on the aimers is 7mm. A trick I use is to use a standard bit holder for your power drill, and SLOWLY turn the aimers with the power drill. Go SLOW or you *will* strip the aimers, I've done it :) .

Flat, as in not the side with the "dorsal fin" that the harness clips on to?

Just curious...have you ever had front end damage? If so, that might have changed the front frame a bit, causeing headlights to be off a bit.

The only time I had problems aligning my headlight is when I put the housing back wrong. The third "hidden" guide (on the lower part of the light, the one that doesn't have an adjuster on it) wasn't in it's tracks.

Yeah the only tim eI had trouble was with the black part under where theheadlight adjuster wasn't in all the way, other than that your headlight casing shouldn't move out. check if it is all in right.

Either you aren't pushing the aimer's all the way in before you lock down the retainer clips, or you broke something.
