One of my headlight aimers is stripped and I need to replace it. I need to know how exactly it comes off so that I can replace it. Anyone have any estimates on how much they are? No junk yard around here to pull them off of unfortunately.

I'm not even sure you can change them. I think they're tied to the headlight housing in a way that can't be pulled apart and put back together.

You might have to change the whole housing...

F'k that sh!t man... I'm not spending $100+ for a new frickin headlight... Besides, I coulda sworn Ryan and/or Seth have replaced theirs.. Bah, I'll have to let this thread pan out a little while...

I thought I posted the pic of them, but there are just 2 bolts that old it on to the housing. Just take off the bolts, swap, put em back on. Find someone that got into an accident and smashed up their housing and get one frmo them.

Go rent a Grand AM and switch the headlights. No one will ever notice. Infact switch both just in case. :D

That's a good idea! Maybe I'll find a place that rents GTs around here and attempt to clear my tail lights... :D

My friend rented a 02 GA SE. The headlights were so clear and mine are sorta chipped from 3 years of road junk. I was thinking how easy that would be to switch but of course I didn't. :D

Thanks Seth... There have been so many frickin light threads that it would take hours to find what I'm looking for  Anyways, thanks I'll try that. Also I don't want to swap housings because mine don't leak. I've seen too many with leaky housings and I'm not going to chance it. Mine have been perfect so far...

Here, it's in pink... u can see the black piece is held on by 2 bolts and the aimer is attached to it.

That's cool, now how do I get the one that doesn't work on mine? The inner part? haha I looked but it looks as if it's held in there differently. Bah who knows, oh well. Thanks Seth!
