after Puddles, runs rough

Having a problem...

It seems that on wet days, especially when I go though puddles (deep or small) my car seems to run pretty rough. After I go though a puddle at normal speeds like I always to though them...the car seems to shake a bit when I step on the gas. and is alittle sluggish...

It will eventually go away after a few minutes, but it doesn't seem normal...

today the SES (service engine soon) light started flashing for about a minute then turned off.

any ideas?

Sounds like you're getting water in your engine. Slow down when you get to puddles...

I agree with the water in the engine diagnosis, you wouldnt be running a cheap filter in the fenderwell would you?

nope, don't have CAI....K&N drop-in.

if had that once, car run like crap, and the ses light flashing stuff. On mine all it was just a looke spark plug wire, check yours just in case
