I just put on the AVS "Smoke" headlight covers and man, I can't see CRAP at night anymore... All of my light now comes from my fog lights. My brights are actually worse now than my regular headlights. Anyways, what did you all do to compensate for the headlight loss? If I get brighter bulbs, will that make up for it? Also, will having those covers on warp my headlights? By that I mean, will the lens get pushed in. ON my 98 Camaro Z28, my taillights actually became indented after awhile.. Well, if you could all let me know what you do, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,
Jeff

Could always upgrade to the blazertech fogs, found at partsforyourcar.com. However, I would recommend taking the second that it takes , and removign your head light covers at night. Cops WILL pull you over for this. In MI, its called "failure to illuminate", counts for 2 points, and 120 bucks.

Two things no they won't warp your lights and 2nd take them off at night!!! Brighter bulbs won't do anything. I have Eurolites and I think that it's even worse now with these bulbs than the stock... Just take them off at night that's the smartest/safest thing to do!

Well I just got off of the phone with Mr Obvious. He had the suggestion of "Take them off at night!!"

Hope that helps. :-)

hey, im new here. about the smoke lenses. i have them on my 99 GT, and like u, all i can see is the fog lights, so i just take them off. on my previous car, 91 ford thunderbird, i had them too, but the light went through completely, i dunno, maybe its cause it was a different brand than what i have on my GA.
