i have the first ones. the piaa's. they are very bright. i am right now, having trouble adjusting my headlights cause it takes so damn long to get them perfect, and its really cold out, so i dont know how good they are, cause their mostly in peoples eyes. up close, they're a little whiter then stock, but when ur more then 50 ft away, even farther, they are the whitest white i have ever seen. if you get piaa all the way around like i have, (check sig for what i have) you wont be disappointed. they all match perfectly. when i finish adjusting my headlights, i hope to have pics up.

I have the extreme's . Click on my links below. PIAA is one of the few that offer street legal bulbs with a hint of blue. Silverstar's look similar to PIAA super white bulbs. Farenheit are nice too but I don't know if there SAE approved. Just use the search feature for the bulb you want to see.

Do a search for light bulbs... I had one comparing my silverstars to my old Eurolites and Farenheits. Both suck compared to the Silvers... If you want a good bulb but don't want to get raped with the price then go with the silverstars... Besides if you don't have a DRL kit you can kiss your Piaa's goodbye. Seriously save yourself $40 or $50 and get the silverstars...

and what does that mean. u mean they will burn out quicker. i dont see why they would burn out quicker then anyother aftermarket bulb cause its using the stock wattage, 55/65

Because most aftermarket bulbs are cheap! I had two sets of bulbs burn out on me due to my DRLs. They don't like having that flux in voltage or whatever it is. Lots of people have had problems with Piaa's. Someone posted that Sylvania's are designed to last even on cars that have DRL's.

I didn't say it was faulty bulbs. I said cheaply made bulbs. Maybe I should have said crappy bulbs?!?!

I have piaa super whites in my car. I dont find them to be that bright. I had a set of xenon lights form www.autostockinc.com in my focus I had until I rolled it. Those lights were bright and took the impact of hitting a telephone poll at about 50. you can also get the 880 fogs to replace the factory but they dont look good. I just put these lights in my grand am and i love them. They have that nice blue tint that look like HIDs. not as bright but for 21 bucks there great.

i dont know what his answer is, but heres mine. i dont like the low beam color. the headlight goes from like a yellow to a white or blue, or whatever type of headlight bulbs people buy. i think it would be better of the low beams looked like the high beams, just a little dimmer. well, i guess thats what hid's are for.

Yeah, I agree, ours *silverstars* don't have any real color to them, the 9006/9004s have a definite blueish tint to them...and that reflects on the road (my friend has them in his new S10). However ours are much more white (especially when coupled with the blazers). I guess it's because of the dual filament that ours doesn't produce the same as a single filament bulb...
Here's what ours look like with the blazers. I also have pictures of what it looks like on the road.
