Great Adventure (Six Flags) Meet - April 12, 2003

the Northeast group of Avenger/Sebring owners (ASOG and ASEC) are having a meet at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey... HomeyNY on the ASEC boards told me to post up here to see if anyone wanted to come to the meet that day... April 12th is the day...that is a Saturday... so far we've had a good time with the Southeast ASOG/ASEC members cuz our two groups tend to get along very well... it should be a great time and a chance for us to meet some of the other domestic car owners before Carlisle... more information can be found here:

Kick ass that's my 1 free weekend in April :D as of now I'm def in. I'll probly get a pass too, since I'm sure I'll hit Great Adventure again at least once more over the summer.

I'm not going to say a definite yes or no, but I believe that sounds like a good plan. I have class that day until 2. So either I'll go up afterwards or make an appearance for an hour and leave up there at like 10.

$hit...i have a wedding that morning....grrr...i was sooo excited to go cuz it's the Saturday before my birthday, but then i realized i had the wedding :( I'll have to give you guys a call when i am done to see how much longer you'll be there, cuz i would def. make the hour trip for a few hours of rides (so try not to tire yourselves out too early)

we are usually there til late at night. :thumbs: we meet up in the morning at the safari parking lot.. get a few pics and wait for everyone then head to the park. its usually a full day there :thumbs:

Well, I definitely had a fun time!!! All you avenger peeps are great!! Mel and I were the only GA ppl who went to the park, and I didn't get there till 3 cuz I had a wedding. Steve was there, but didn't stay to go into the park. The weather turned out beautiful (some of us even got a little sunburn :)) There was hardly anyone there, so no wait for the rides. Hung out in the parking lot from like 8-9:30, stoopid security tho :mad:

Mel got some good pics of the cars, and she also has the group shot on her camera. Hope to hang out with all you guys and girls again soon!!!

The weather ended up being beautiful, n I got to show off my recently modded front bumper... By the end of the nite I got Roberto's phone #, a buncha pics (link will be provided later), n a written warning. Yes, I was pulled over about 3 blocks leaving Great Adventure. Long story short, State trooper cut right in front of Erika to get behind me. Claims I was weaving b/w the lanes n he was afraid I was either drunk or falling asleep... :rolleyes:
