Keyless entry module??

I have a 99 gase that I'm parting out....anyway...a friend wants to install the keyless entry module from my car into his 00 gase....can this be easily done??

If I recall properly it's not like swapping parts. The BCM needs to be programmed to accept the keyless module. For that I think you need a dealership or someone with a Tech II.
