Well, I'm at a loss. I was thinking about adding an amp to my rear speakers(Infinity's - 100W RMS). First I was told that it is a good idea, then I was told that it would seriously f-up my soundstage and everything would sound horrible. I've got Infinity's up front as well(see sig.) I was planning on adding a US Acoustics 80Wx2 amp to the rears. I'm just trying to get the most SQ out of my system. Right now, I have it faded slightly to the front, and everything but the low end sounds good, the low end is a little weak. Would an amp help me out? What does everyone think?
I'm going to wire for two-or three- amps because I may add a 10" Perfect in the future. I say maybe because I dont like tons of bass. Just enough to complete the music.
Thanks for looking!

PS-what does everyone else have for a system?

I would'nt bother amping the rears, unless you want to amp all your speakers at once.(maybe a 4 channel amp.)
If you want bass, go for a sub. A single 10" or 12" perfect would'nt overwelm you, & the SQ is really good. If you shop around, you can probably get by for less than $300. Try Ikesound, they seem to have the best price on the Infinities. Or even try Crutchfield, they cost a little more, but are very reliable & their Perfects come with a FREE box.

If the system is loud enough for you as it is, and you need a little low end help, leave everything alone and get an Infinity Basslink.
If you want a little more volume and clarity all around, get a 5 channel amplifier to run everything, and add a small woofer, or a 4 channel amp to run just the fronts and a small woofer.
Based on what you said above, I think you'll be fine to leave everything as is and add a little bass, and the Basslink is the easiest and least expensive way to do that if you want bass but not a ton of boom. Under $300 online, and easy to install.

I agree with am
it all depends on the money u want to spend and how much cleaner and louder u want to be....
ANY good 4 chanel amp will do for the interior, now as for the bass well that's up to u.
there are alot choices ...
