color change on door buttons. its easy

well every time some one ask if we can change the color that are window buttons shine at night the awnser is no. but guess what its yes I know becuas I just finished doing it. you have to take the buttons off of the switch. pull the black rubber back, pop out the clear piece withe a screw driver. and there sits a bulb with guess what an orange rubber bulb cover pull that cover off and put a different color in takes about 15 min a switch. oh by the way my buttons were showing a little wear so I dipped them in fingernail polish remover and removed the paint now they are clear . looks cool..:thumbs: :D

yeah u need to get pix..that would be interesting to see but id have to keep it red cause any other color would clash with the red theme:)

ive seen those pix..id have to see em installed..i better wait cause im not sure if that would clash with all the red lights at night time or not

yeah your right it would clash with the red i forgot about that.

I cleared my lock and window controls awhile back using a dremel and a couple coats of clear coat. Looks great and have recieved many compliments about them.:thumbs:

the nail polish remover works well and there is no need for clear coat they are allready shiny when you take the paint off. they even have a texture to them its molded in the plastic. oh by the way just blue doors would clash but I intend on doing dash lights as well even the radio. I always figure out a solution even if it means reverse glow gages and after market radio. i have not opend the guages up yet I know every one says it can't be changed but like i said "I" have not looked yet when I figure it out I'll let you all know:thumbs:
