If it has more than 36,000 miles or is more than 3 years old, it is out of warranty.
If it has less than 36,000 miles but you are unsure of the date of purchase, I would think you could call a Pontiac dealer and give them the VIN and they'd be able to tell you.

36K (miles) bumber to bumper coverage is standard. Some auto makers will give an extended warrantee on the power train (engine/transmission). I think 1 company offers a longer bumper to bumper warrantee.

I drive a 99 gt and it only has 17200 KM's on it. I think the rotors are warped. The warranty was for 3 yrs/60000 kms.

Do you think they will make an exception -- and, if so, are the rotors covered??

thanks

Beef53 I had my rotors turned once under warranty. I took it in like 8 months later and it needed to be done again. They told me I'd have to pay. They also said they will turn the rotors under warranty one time as long as its under 24k miles. Other dealers may be different. Hope that helps
