Ok, since I tried to download Photoshop 6.0 and it was corrupt (stupid Adobe website :rage: ), I had to use paint to do this, but if anyone has photoshop and can do a better job, feel free to. :)
I was just thinking about what I don't like about the chin spoiler and it's the fact that it just adds onto the bottom air dam lip. So what if someone could redo it like this? What do you think?

Well hard to say with that picture, but looks odd really. More like the car is wrecked almost. The "add on" look is deffionatly better.
I edited one with adobe and still just looks odd.

Well, obviously that's just a picture I took and clicked the black bar and painted over things. But the question is... if a body shop could cut the lower lip out, smooth the sides and use the chin spoiler as the bottom lip, and maybe make a middle piece (though I'm not a fan of the middle piece, stock bumper included). I think it'd give you a nice big open look that you could put grill mesh over. I just think the SC/T chin gives it too much busy slapped together look when it's put over the original bumper like that. And since I can't stand the *** or AAS kits, I'd be willing to go get a used GT bumper cover and cut it up and experiment around to see if there was a way to do this. I'd like to see a real photochop of it, so someone with pics of the SC/T front, can you try?

Ya I see what you are saying, but really to pass that off would be a lot of work. Looks like cutting the bumper just above the fog lights and around, then dropping that down, filling the gap, like they do with those body droped trucks but (the opposite) would look better.

I don't think it would look all that great.....plus you lose the center support for the chin spoiler....

Well, here's photochop my friend did for me, it's pretty much a smoother version of my pic. He said he'd like a front on view to try, but I can't find a straight on shot of the SC/T kit. If anyone has one, link me there please. I personally like the open front look. There's been posts before about cutting the middle of the stock bumper out and having it smoothed over. This is kind of a continuation I guess of that idea. I saw a Dodge Caravan today, and it had two levels, like the look the SC/T chin gives the car, and I just don't like that two level look. One level, but lower would look good to me. I don't know, I'll keep playing with it. Like I said, it might be worth buying a wrecked GT bumper cover to toy with. :)

EDIT: What Peeps shows isn't so hot. So what if there was a middle piece still in there? a vertical to support the spoiler, and just did away with the original airdam lip. More like GTR's chop.

i would sell u my front bumper, but i won't be getting my bodykit until summer. Mine is cracked where the vertical bar sits on the lower lip so there isn't much i can do with it.
