Well this is my first car that has ever had warrenty on it so I have a couple questions.
My car is used, I bought it from a rather small dealership:
I have Wynn's Warrenty first of all...
1) On the paper work it says 60 months or 100k warrenty (just hit 20k miles) with $0 deductible. I'm assuming that the warrenty took affect when I drove off the lot with it?
2) If I experience a problem with my car do I just take it to a GM dealer and tell them I have warrenty, and show them the papers that I signed when I bought the car or what?
3) It covers pretty much everything major, everything besides minor maintenance like oil changes and filters and stuff like that right?
I guess that's it, if anyone can add any other input that'd be great, and I apologize if these kinds of questions have been asked. =x

My take on this...
1) The warranty takes effect the moment the contract is signed, IF the the company doesn'T reject it (that sometimes happen with used cars. You should get a confirmation as well as a policy number and the procedures to make a claim by mail within a few weeks.)
2) Depending on which company you're dealing with (never heard of Wynn's before) you usually take it to whatever garage (not necessarily GM) and they'll call your company and set up the payment with them. Sometimes though garages won't want to go through the trouble of setting things up with the company so you'll have to pay up front and then claim a reimbursement from your company. Whatever happens they have to receive an estimate of the repairs cost BEFORE the job is done as they have the right to request a second opinion. They'll also tell you there if there's anything they won't cover.
3) It really depends on what coverage you picked. Some will only cover the powertrain elements. Some will cover everything but electronics. Some won't cover gaskets and such. You should ask Wynn's to send you a detailed description of what exactly is covered.
I've had extended warranties with 2 different companies (GM and PPP Group) and both worked that way.
Hope this helps...

(starting from when the first owner bought the car)
For the first 3-years (of car's age)/36K miles, you have an original GM manufacturer's warranty.
So while that is in-effect: bring it into a GM dealer & GM will cover warranty services.
See: http://www.pontiac.com/grandam/specs_warranty.jsp
(at least it does in Canada...my friend bought a repo/used '98 Sunfire GT that still had an original manufacturer warranty, when he bought the car in '99)
After the original GM warranty is up, then start using your Wynn's warranty.
I believe when they say '60 months or 100k miles warranty': that the 60-months is based on the car's age (by the starting with when the first owner bought it).

Oh right, I missed that part (that the car was only 20k miles).
You better check with your company to see whether the warranty covers it for 5 years/100k miles from when you bought it or from the initial purchase of the car (by the first owner).

Check over the paperwork you received, all answers should be there.
Usually time and mileage for warranties are from time first put in service fo rnew cars. For used cars, the in service date is usually not available so it can be from time the second buyer (you) bought the car.
Many aftermarket (non-manufacturer) warranties require you to go to the dealer that sold the warranty unless you are more then a given distance away. (example, if you are within 50 miles, have to go to selling dealer). Again your paperwork will tell.
For what is covered, check your paperwork. A warranty such as your "Wynns" may only cover parts and systems that are lubricated by their products. Engine, Transmission, Steering.
Another IMPORTANT item. Some warranties require very specific maintenace time and record requirements. And you may be required to have Wynns products added at specific times.
PLEASE read your paperwork, or ask the dealer. Post back with your findings to help others.
