i have this head unit and it has three sets of preouts one front, one rear, and then one subs....the subs is 4 volt. When i plug the rcas into the sub preouts there is like no sound from the subs..then when i put it in the front preouts, the subs start pounding like hell. Whats happening? This is a brand new head unit..i mean it sounds really good but i want to know why the sub preouts are not working just in case later i want to add another amp for components or 6x9s.
Thanks Guys,
Alex

Try this....
Hold setup for a few seconds. Press the seek up or down till you get "SUB". Then press the BAND button till you can turn "SUB W ON".
That should turn the preouts on for ya.
If not, post back

Is there a way to turn up the volume up on the sub outs. Have you tried reading the manual yet?

I'm saying it sounds like you have a bad/dead pre-out.. Is the deck new? If so, bring it back and get it replaced.
