HELP my Cd changer isn't working

I have an Eclipse 55430 head unit and I just recently bought a 5083 CD changer off of Ebay. The guy said he didn't know if it worked. When I hook it up to my head unit it sends an error message " info 5" what does this mean. I also have to fix the fact that it wont eject the cartridge but I would like to know what info 5 means. Please help :rolleyes:

why would you take the risk with something that might not work???

well it's $54 used and $400 New so thats what an 85% discount. Plus I know a little about electronics and think that I can fix it. Right now I think that it is either one of the motors has gone bad or one of the positon swithces isn't working.
So I guess that means that no one knows what "info 5" Means.
Oh well I guess I have to make a long distance call to washington.

Well I took it apart yesterday and found out why the CD cartridge wouldn't eject and fixed that and last night I figgured out how it worked and got everything working mechanically now I just need to figure out how to put it back together:boogie: this should be fun.
