anyone on here put holes in the pannels that cover up the side view mirrors on the inside of the car for tweeters?? if so how hard was it and what kind of tweeters do u recomend using??

i did that with mine...it wasn't hard...just have to be patient. I have audiobahn tweeters from my component set, and they were easy as cake to put in. It should be fairly simple...make a hole big enough to fit, and put the bracket on the back on..and voila...you're done ;)

I had to order the flat sail panels to fit my Infinity components in them. They work very well. Alot better than the stock molded ones.

I did on mine. I measured my tweeters and used a hole saw. If your tweeters are fairly big you have to be careful with the placement. Since the sail panels are'nt flat, you'll wind up with your tweets not sitting flush if they are'nt placed right.

As far as what kind -- are you getting componets or just tweeters?

Are you talking about just adding tweeters to your existing front speakers, or replacing your fronts with a separate woofer and tweeter.

oh alright i understand what ur saying.. yeah im just adding tweeters to my mb quarts that are in there now... i just want some good tweeters, any suggestions?? oh and how should they measure to fit on there well??
