I have the non monsoon system with the following pinouts on the factory wiring harness. Which one is the ACC (12V terminal controlled by the ignition switch) and which is the Battery (always on a.k.a 12V memory)?

B9 = Yellow
B8 = Brown
B7 = not used
B6 = Purple
B5 = Black
B4 = Grey
B3 = Dk Green
B2 = not used
B1 = Orange
A12 = Black w/ white stripe
A11 = Dk Blue
A10 = Lt Blue
A9 = Grey
A8 = Peach
A7 = Lt Green
A6 = Pink
A5 = not used
A4 = not used
A3 = not used
A2 = not used
A1 = Purple

my harness has 2 rows of 12 pins. the 2 rows of 10 pins was on earlier models of grand ams i believe. still looking for correct pinouts. someone help, i'm going crazy :)

What does each of these do, I need to know the funtion of each wire.

if you have a automotive light bulb atatch one end to a ground and then go through the pins one by one with the other while the car is off. The one that lights up is the one you want turn the car on and make sure you still have juice. You should be able to find it that way.

dude I am saying test the pins to see which one has constant voltage. I don't know the Flippin color I think mine was yellow or orange.

Gm has use the same speaker color for a long time. But the 2001+ grand ams don't have a switch 12v line

so what model is this diagram of cause it says that pin B2 is ignition i.e. switched I'm guessing 99 - 00
