Silver VINYL to match???

Ok I have some decals on the side of my car that Robbie (the one with the amazing Alero) made for me and it is a metallic vinyl that looks identical to my paint. But every dam shop I got to does not have it. Theres is either a slightly different color or to metallic or something. I found one place that had a sample of it, but they were going to charge me a lot since I only want 4 window banners.. :(


So, anyone with a 00 silvermist have any vinyl that matches the paint? If so did you get it online and where?

I have other silver vinyls on the car that are on the paint, like the flames and the darts and the parts list and all, but that is not the same on purpose, just the basic silver...



My goal is to remove all the dark red metallic banners and slap on some silver paint matched ones on teh top and bottom of the windows with a flame edge cut into it, then have that red reflective lettering on them from Grafx Werks. :) I love that refletive. : ) I wish they had reflective silver. do they and I missed it?

I have a 2000 silvermist GT. I bought some silver flames for my rear window about a year and a half ago, & they matched perfectly, but they are badly changing to a dark gold/brown color now. (I need to order new ones or do something different) Anyways, I can't remember exactly where I bought them, but it was online.... like autostickers.com or something. Just go to Yahoo and type in auto accessories & decals and several things will come up.

Well I know of tons of online retailers, insluding the ones I got my graphics and stuff from, but I hav eno clue what exactly they carry as far as it matching and all... I orderd a bunch from different palces in like the cheapest decal they offered to pick which company and vinyl I wanted to order for my graphics, but do not want to go through all that again. lol.

Ya I can see how i tis darker.. Neat decal though. :)

The reflective white is actually a bright silver color... not quite as "dark" as the Silvermist, but silver none the less. If you email me your postal mailing addy, I'll send you a sample.

Thanks. I am actually wanting the red lettering for th ebanner to be reflective and not the banner itself. It might be a little to much reflect, what do you think? I am interestd in my flames being reflective, can you cut out something similar in style and size?

I will surely be getting the rest of my reflective stuff from you. :)

I have a black reflective stripe covering that black OEM stripe on the GT and a black reflective 3rd brake light cover. the reflection is white, but actually looks silver. I like it a lot. I just think having a feflective full body graphics would be awsome. I mean it would grab some serious attention, and mybe I will not get hit again. lol. tha twas the reason for the reflective pinstripe and it does work to make the car more visible at night. :)

3M have a good silver metallic match. I have the Galaxy Silver and it is only about 2% brighter.

Something elso to.. is that when you goto buy decals and vinyl make sure you know what kind of warranty there is. Seems like everyone and their brother is selling vinyl.. ive seen some that were selling vinyl @ 1 a foot. And ya get what ya pay for. So buying a little more expensive vinyl youll get a better warranty and it lasts longer. My rear window Pontiac V is made by 3M and it withstands powerwashers as close as 6 inches. Hasnt faded and still is a perfect match.. Goto a reputable shop that does commercial vehicles. And has a showroom and references.
