Trunk Sound deading?

If i sprayed down my trunk w/ a layer or two of sound deading spray would it help anything or would i just be wasting my time? Also what do you guys put on your trunk lid to make it rattle a little less? thansk justin

as long as weight is being add it helps. on trunks you can use the mats of actual; sound deadener like eDead, dynamat, brown bread, etc... or you can use substitutes like roofing stuff, PEEL AND SEEL brand is good... just as long as whatever will stick to it will help....

I just picked up some stuff from home depot looks exactly like dynamat extreme only cost $14 for a roll of 4"x60' I think it was.
