Hey guys. I'm sure you all know, i'm going to be getting my SC/T kit soon. I do not plan on lowering the car, considering its going to be low enough already for Michigan roads. A drop will be considered later, but i'm checking into and researching what I can do about stiffer springs and suspension. I noticed ever since I got my subwoofer's, that the suspension has almost leveled out and tends to dip down in the back during acceleration.

I do plan on getting rims sometime, but here's my question. What should I do as far as making my ride stiffer and more responsive, while holding up the weight in the rear, and not dropping the car in height? I noticed Eibach's are only like a 1" drop and I can afford that as long as they make the ride stiffer, but does anyone have any suggestions? Its not a huge issue of mine, but if theres a way to take care of it, i'd like to know. Thanks again!

EDIT: Maybe if people posted their experiences with their struts/springs/STB's/swaybars, we could make this into a Suspension Database?

i have the eibachs and they will lower your car more than an inch, i think it lower mine almost 1.5, not really sure, not it drops it pretty good. The ride is a lot stiffer, not harsher, but has a more controlling feel to it. I think these would be the best for what ur looking for. I love mine.

That was my original plan, matched up with a set of KYB struts. But then again, I have that body kit coming and can't afford to drop it too much.

Just get sway bars for now, they'll make it more responsive.

How's it going to stop my issue with the car dipping in the rear when I accelerate because of the weight?

Who cares? No, honestly, lose some weight. Mine has no such dip in the rear.

I took Mike for a ride in my car already, and I don't think he wants eibachs;) . If you really don't want to drop the car, the sway bars and STB's still make a huge difference. They just aren't the same as stiffer springs though. I'm also pretty sure no one makes stiffer springs for stock ride height. You could keep the stock springs and get KYB struts but I'm not sure if that would do any good. I'd just get the STB's and sway bars for now. Easier to install and you don't need an alignment afterward.
