New "Green" Air Filters...

Hey guys, just thought I would share this with you if you
have yet to see them out there. There is some new competition
from K&N from this company called Green Filter, and I think I saw
that they are from France. Anyway, when I saw these at a speed
shop I was VERY impressed. I'm sure most of you know the K&N
display with the ping-pong ball in the tube, and they use that
to show you how much air a K&N flows over a paper filter. Well,
with that thing on the lowest setting, the paper filter doesn't even
move the ball, the K&N moves it about 1 to 2 inches up... and this
"Green" filter, brought the ball 1 to 2 inches from the top!!! And
I would say its about a 24" tube... I couldn't believe it!

So, I ordered one to go with the stock Ram Air setup, and I think
I might ditch the FDP CAI to get some of my Mid, and Low-end
torque back. And I'm hoping this filter and a little mods on the
Ram Air will open up the upper-end like the CAI does. I'm going
to install it and try it out this weekend, and I'll be sure to let
everybody know how it works.

and i bet having no filter at all will put the ball all the way to the top!

why do you think the filter flows more? probably bigger holes in the media.. and with bigger holes and more airflow, you also get more DIRT flow. keep this in mind when going with a high flow filter.. Sure you get more power, but how long is that engine going to last?
