ok, so I got this SAS bazooka tube, it's amplified, I need to know how to hook it up to my stock radio, I have a 99 gt. The wiring harness it came with has 2 rca plug wires, and 4 wires to hook to what it refers to as "hi level imputs from both left and right sides, + and - terminals". Does that mean the back speakers? does that mean that I don't have to use the RCA plugs? cause I know that the back of my radio doesn't have RCA plugs or anything like that. yeah, so does anyone know how to put one of these in cause I read somewhere that you can just tap into the back speakers in the trunk. Anyone know if this is right?

oh yeah, and I know that some of u out there hate tubes, and think that they suck and all, but I had my reasons for getting one, and that's not the point of this thread. I'm not being hostile, I just know how easily this can turn into a bashing session. So I'd appreciate any advice. Thanx again.

That's right little buddy!! You should have 4 wires coming out of that tube for hi level input! Just (hate to say this) splice in those wires with that of your speaker wires in the rear. Your still gonna have to wire up a remote wire a power wire and a ground! Unless it's that new tube that senses for a remote through hi and low level input. Do a search and see if anyone posted this question before. You might get better results, or wait for the others to post:thumbs:

The only time I let someone else touch my car is when I absolutely can't do it, like if I had an arc welder, I would have done my dual mag setup too. oh yeah, and a pipe bender too. Other than that, I do everything myself.

Hmm...tell us how it sounds after you get it installed! I just got an Infinity Basslink a few weeks ago and installation took me a little less than an hour (after a few f*ck ups! LoL). Ground, power, remote power, remote bass control and plug it into the two RCA outputs in the HU. Simple...

Hey SIK how is that basslink thing! Is it umphy or what.
Have a neighbor asking me about it but never heard one.
Just wanted to know if it's worth it?$

Definitely worth the money. TOTAL cost for me was 270. Install shouldn't take more than an hour and you can do it yourself with no experience. It's not loud enough to wake the neighbors (or attract TOO many cops) but inside the car it hits hard, fast and clear. I give it three enthusiastic thumbs up!

Back from the dead but this needs refreshing. I just got a RS8A-HP. I want to use it with the stock HU (2000). Can someone tell me where to connect the orange remote wire? Also, the 4 high level inputs? And is that all that needs to be hooked up beside the ground and power? Thx!
