Hey guys I just got back from an auto shop, and the guy told me he can get me Borla Headers for $659. He said they are bolt on. I dont know all the specifics yet. I was just wondering if I am the only one that knows about this?

I didn't know anything about this either.....

He could be thinking of the GTP or GP...the only thing that i can think of that "bolts up", from Borla, is the catback exhaust.

Let us know!

Borla knows there is interest, because I submit the 99+ GA's just about every week to their website R&D submisssion section. But currently there are no Borla headers for our cars.

I had some guy at a muffler shop tell me he could get my car to 300hp in NA form and that there was a cam available for it too. Of course the guy drove a mustang, so how the hell should he know anything about our cars? If the guy doesn't have a GA and he doesn't frequent this website he probably doesn't know what he's talking about. The shear number of people here that are always looking for new parts and working with companies to get new parts means that we find out about it before practically anyone else. If borla had headers for the GA we'd know about it already. The guy was blowing smoke up your tailpipe.;)

If Borla makes headers for our cars and they're at least as good as TOG and they're cheaper, I'm definitely down for buying them. Let me know guys.

You bring up a good point. We would know first, that's why I am a newbie. I had to work all day today so I couldnt talk to the guy. I'll go tomarrow to see whats the latest. im skeptic to because why would the headers cost as much as the exhaust. Hey maybe if everyone on these boards emails borla to get GA headers, something will happen. Just thinking that might push them. By the way a grand prix has a 3.4 L I believe.....so maybe there are headers.

Borla doesn't really make many headers. They specialize mainly in cat-back exhausts, mufflers, and tips. The older grand prixs had 3.4L's in them but all '97 and up have 3.8L's. The only headers I know of for the grand prix are from "The Other Guys" and "SS Headers". The Other Guys make headers for the grand am too and SS Headers is working on them now. That's pretty common knowledge around here right now.

Well I payed for that product and I havent been dissapointed. I Like the look, sound and performance they have given. I know they are a little on the high price range, but are we trying to put a dollar store together or a Nice set of wheels? :p

Just FYI - I know several people that put Borla headers on their 4.0L Jeeps. I even helped one guy. THEY SUCK!!! I never saw headers so cheaply made! They reminded me of Pacesetters with chrome plating.

Nothing lined up, they were VERY thin walled, and just real low quality. I would have expected MUCH more from Borla! My one friend to this day has never had them seal properly. He replaces the exhaust gasket almost every oil change!!!

you have no idea!
I cut open my borla muffler that was wrecked and almost puked.
definately not a good design for performace. Magnaflow mufflers will lay borla mufflers to waste with less cost.
borla and goodyear have lots in common, high prices, good name, but not the best product. all they can do is sell the name and people pay out the butt for a name
