Hey everybody, Sorry this is about my other car, and its a tire question, so I thought it would be okay to ask, if not sorry. I have a Porsche 944 with 215-60-15s. Question is a guy is selling some rims, and the rears are 15X8, and the fronts are 15X7, and they came off another porsche, so I think everything should fit, even though the rears are a little larger. Do they sound like they would fit?

1. This should be in the new section for tires/wheels/brakes/suspension (Thanks Guru's and mods :D )

2. It would help to know what tire size the prospective wheels have on them.

Yea sorry guess I should have looked :). There are no tires, just the rims.

I would guess you are looking at a:
front tire = 215/60/15
back tire = 225 or 235/60/15

might fit, depends on the clearance you currently have in the back. Good thing about the back needing the bigger tire change is that the wheel doesn't have to turn (obviously). So, all you need to make sure of is that the tires don't rub any suspension parts. I'd say that if you have 1.5-2 inches of space between the current tire size and the suspension, you should be fine (just estimating of the top of my head without calculating).
