Hoping someone can help me out. So here is what happened, I had my battery die on my. So I go to jump the car, jumpers are hooked up correctly on both my car and the other car. I wait a bit turn the key to hear clicking and the owner of the other car yelling fire. I turn key and remove key from the car and quickly disconnect the cables. It appears that a wire between the engine and fan had shorted or caught on fire and burned up. It blew a 10amp fuse in the drivers side fuse box that controls radio trunk release and keyless entry. Replaced fuse and everything works but my stereo. The stereo has lights when head lights are on but will not power up. Any suggestions, answers, or advice would be very helpful. Driving around is silence is killing me.
Thanks Guys

Yikes    wtf wtf
firs off I hope you have fixed whatever problem caused the fuse to pop and the fire.(fire is bad verry bad)

check the fuse on the HU it'self
since the power lead and the dimmer lead are two different wires check to see if there are any other fuses blown. there are 3 fuse blocks drivers side passenger side (i think, I'm having a brain fart I might be wrong) and under the hood.
You have tried manually turning it on right (had to mention it)
Other than that I am stumped

Yea I checked all 3 fuses only the one was blown and I replaced it, I think I almost pushed the power knob through the back of the stereo from trying to manually turn it on so many times so it;s not that either
