The Ram air on the Trans Am is a piece of **** too, unless you remove the rain baffles, just like on our cars. And it doesn't go straight into the airbox, it has to make a 180 degree bend back down the inside of the hood to enter the front of the airbox. So it's basically not even as straight as ours. I think ram air is way way more efficient if it's actually a sealed, straight path into the engine. The fast toys ram air kit for LS1's outperforms the open K & N intake dramatically.

That's funny on that thread how they were arguing whether ram air is "considered" forced induction  Wow, give me a freagin break!!!

I was going to buy a FTRA and modify it to fit out car somehow but decided against it. It would be awesome to have some sort of REAL ram air :)

Damn, know we know why marketing is such a powerful, and more importantly, lucrative tool, especially in the automotive world!!!

And that dude saying that there isn't that much of a difference between cold air and warm air inducted into an engine? I guess intercooling is just a marketing ploy as well

I don't feel like making an account there just for one post. Someone go post this pic in that thread.
