Is there any way whatsoever to censor the word r i c e alone but not sensor p r i c e ? This is a site about cars and new developments, it will get really annoying really fast when people want to know the p r i c e of new products.

yeah, and how about the word "p i s s"
The word price has already been taken care of.
"P i s s" has been on the censored word list since the begining and will remain on the list.

Don't know if it's possible, but I've seen on another forum that when a no-no word was used it alerts the mods... Any function like that?

I don't know that a feature like that would do much good. People may type it by mistake.

Well, it woud be under the Mods/Guru's discression as to whether it is bad or not. It just alerts them to let them know of a potential problem

every mod would get like 30-40 email alerts each day though :(

I personally think censoring is dumb, we should all be mature enough to handle bad language considering 3/4 of us probably use it, but that's my opinion.

Rules are rules. This is a family oriented site. Guru's want to try and keep this site professional and well, profanity isn't professional.
