Anyone know anything good to use on tinted windows to clean them?

windex, or the equivalent without ammonia.
Me however, I'm going on my second car with tint...I use whatever glass cleaner I have. Unless you drench the windows constantly with it you'll be fine.

I was told/recommended to use a 100% cotton rag/towel & water.

use 20/20 window cleaner. don't use windex or anything like it changes the color of your tint if u keep using it..

20/20 eagle...i'm pretty sure it's "for tinted windows".
Anything without ammonia in it, would work fine!
Purple tint is just not right! (Unless you're paying for it? )

I just use windex. I have the metallized lifetime warranty, when I had it put on, I asked em, they said use anything, it won't hurt it.

I ues the generic Target brand that is purple...it's alcohol based not ammonia so it won't discolor the tint.
I'm sure using windex with amonia a couple times won't hurt your tint, but repeated uses will...I'd stay away from it.
Some people have used their own cleaner...water and vinegar is a great cleaner and doesn't leave any streaks. It's all natural so there isn't any chemicals to worry about.
I wonder if the Zaino glass polish will work on tint though...? Anyone know? I'll be calling Sal tomorrow to make sure...

you need something with silicone in it. i use a cleaner called solar magic. any "home use" window cleaner is a no-no.

i didnt believe that water and 100% lint free cotton cloth wold get the job done.. that is until i worked a local detail shop that is considered the best in an area covering 100 miles.. which i thought was false until i had to detail a car that the guy drove 3hrs just to have it detailed for a show.. so anything would probly do but for best results i would go with what i learned at teh detail shop.. water and a lint free 100% cotton rag
