I want people that have used both to tell me there opinion. I use Meguiars 5 step process normally. But when it comes to a great detailed finish I use Zymol. I have used Zaino and it works well but I think Zymol is better.

What do you think is better. People will say zaino which is great but it is because they never used Zymol. It is like saying Turtle Wax is the best, but you only think that because you have neve used anything else

Use Zaino on my car, used Zymol on my cousins car. Like Zaino better but Zymol is still great. Don't know how it's holding up thouhg. I just know that I've had my 2 coats of Zaino on for about 4-5 months now and it's still got a nice shine and still protected. Lasted all winter w/salt all over it for 3 weeks at a time :)

I have used Meguires Medallion, Zymol & Zaino. Zaino is best by far. The brilliance that can be achieved by several coats of Zaino is unmatched. You can do many coats of Zymol and it doen't come close. Also, due to the fact that Zaino is not a wax, it can be applied without fear of "buildup" around trim, badges, lights, etc. It is pricey and can be time consuming, but definately worth it!

But you have to fill out a mail order for Zanio? Booo!!! This is kinda confusing. When you guys say you put on such and such a coat sevral months back and it still shines now, does that mean all you had have to do is spray water on the car and wipe it down? When is it time to reapply zanio?

I am able to go about 6 mos between applications. After a good wash (with Zaino car wash) I can apply Z6 spray and the car still shines nice!

You can go months on end with just one coat of Zaino. I've done it with no problems! I shall try and get a pic when the car is freshly washed and still wet, and one when it's dry. Then after I'm done Zainoing.

I can guarantee that it'll look much better when I'm done re-applying, but the longetivity is just amazaing....

For the guy who hasn't waxed in almost a year, DO SO!! Regular wax will last maybe a month if you're lucky, it's wax so think of it this way: Put a piece of beeswax on your car out in the hot sun, see how long it lasts!!! Same goes with a car wax...

As for it being hard to order? Pfft. Don't be lazy!!! :) It took about a week to a week and a half to recieve mine, that's including the day I shipped out to the day I received it. There are a few places online where you can buy them, but I don't know where they are.

Write Sal an e-mail and he'll be more than willing to help you out!

What I find that works is putting on a good wax like Eagle One one weekend and then putting on a coat of Zymol the next weekend. This leaves me with a good shine all spring and summer untill the fall when I give it another coat of wax for the winter. Seems to work for producing a great shine.

Plus, then I don't have to spend all day rubbing, untill my arms are ready to drop off, putting on and taking off a multi step cleaning and polishing system.

Won't happen with Zaino :) The stuff is so easy to apply and take off that you won't have any problems. I didn't at least.

I like my Zymol. The $15.00 bottle from Wal-Mart is ok but I just got a $43.00 bottle from zymol online. It is awsome. 1 step and it shines like a mirror. It is the only wax aproved by Concourse show. Which houses cars from the value range of 85,000 to 7.3million dollar cars. That is why I trust it. If that is all someone will use on there $20,000 paint job then I think it is a good selection. You pay a little more but you get what you pay for.

Maybe the car place get's paid by Concourse to use their product, hence why that's all they use... They may have a deal of some sort where Car place can only use Concourse products, and in return Concourse gives them cars or something...

Yup, that's Zaino for you :)

Again, for the product that place uses, perhaps they found a wax that they really like and don't want to change? Lots of people are like that. Find their little niche and don't want to leave.
