Answers to your questions are all yes, except for the 712's being good "all season" tires.....that just ain't gonna happen. They do extremely well in dry and wet conditions though. If your car is a GT, the tire with the closest aspect ratio to the 225/50-16 OE tires would be a 225/45-17. Next up would be 235/45-17. The 235/40 is going to make your speedo read faster than you are actually going. They will fit no problem though....hope this helps.

thanx for the info......as for the tires being all-season, that dont really matter, cuz my car hybernates during the winter season.....as long as they are good in dry/wet condition, ill b a happy camper ......thnx again....:cheers: ill put up a pic of them when they arrived ( i just ordered them 10 min ago from www.bigwheels.net )

I just went to Bigwheels.com....it told me that my bolt pattern for a 99 GA is 5x100. It's not....our bolt pattern is 5x115. I hope you didnt order the wrong bolt pattern....site is screwed up!

This is what you need for the Tenzo Passion-5

17x7 or 18x7.5
PCDmm (blt pattern) = 100/114.3
Holes = 10 hole pattern
Offset mm = 42mm

I don't know if that is a compliment or a cut down :confused:

GTLuver. He is probably saying that because of the sidewall, he knows it would throw off your speedo (you'll be off by about 1.1MPH..60 on speedo will have you physically doing 58.9). For sure a 235 will seat on a 7.5 rim

OK, thanxs :D

I don't know everything, especially with cars (I like wheels though) but I wouldn't consider myself average either. I'll show you transcripts if evidence is needed lol

transcrips lol .......anywayz......one more questions guys.....if i go w/ this tire/wheel size......(235/40/wr17 on 17x7.5) will the tires be sticking out? i dont like it when tires stick out of a car.........specially when u see them on trucks etc..........ewwwww......

depends on offset. You want an offset that is between approximately +38mm and +42...outside that you are pressing your like IMO
