well i've had a video screen in my car for about 3 weeks now, and it is just temporarily mounted with double stick tape. i want to mount it somewhere where it looks really nice, without making any permanent holes on the car. i was thinking about putting it in the glove box, but it seems as though there isn't enough room in there.

Well the glove box seems like a poor idea to me.. just not the best place to watch tv. lol. Only the passanger in the front seat can see it and if the sun is shinnig in it may make viewing difficult (but that phroblem is in other places too.

I have seen a few things done before that I thought were neat. Have you ever seen those adjustable peddistal stands? The ones with the long flexiable necks. Well I have seen one mounted to the inside of the glove box, so when the door is open you can pull the arm out and bend it so that the tv actually sits wherever you want (or whereever the neck will reach. lol. This mount is designed to be bolted to teh floor under the carpet, so you can do that to. both of which will require some minor drilling to mount, but will all be hidden away.

What size screen? I put mine in the visor. Yes the visor is destroid if you ever want to remove the tv, but it will be an easy par tof the car to replace if you are conserned about that.

Plus I have seen a Grand Am with the TV bolted to the plastic trim just above the HU Yes that also require some cutting, but just one samll drill hole into a replacable piece of the dash. That is a enat spot, but does sit in front of the vents.

A member of our club also mounted his to the window right above the rear view mirror. this was a bad ass idea I think. no drilling and a secure fit. Just use teh mirror mounting glue that you can get anywhere and mount the peddistle for the tv to the window. It will stick dam good, then the wires can be run up above the headliner and teh tv can be adjusted in all directins for viewing and to be out of the way of the mirror, but not a good palce for driving adn tv watching, since the mirrors are a good thing to use while driving. My Plus you can apoxy or velcro the screen to the metal above teh headliner. That industrial velcro will hold tha tstand there good, and you do not have to wrry abotu extreme heat causing it to fall, like the window glue. Sorry not sure this will work but this is my plan. I am goin to remove the sunroof button and mout it through that precu twhole there, then get a fiberglass bracket to fil the whole back up so it looks good, then the tv will nto be bolted, but I will use the velcro. Ihave used this velcro in installs before and it is strong ass stuff. then I can have a big 12" screen that can be folded away or adjusted to be viewed by oanyoen in the car, mostly the backseat people, since the visors screens are good for the front...

Maybe I sparked an idea for you, but that is my two cents. lol
