So this guy I know has an 03 SER, and he pretty much thinks hes the ****, better than EVERYONE else... He has the base SER and insists that his is faster than the SPEC Vs... Also he says he was running around 14.8 stock, now that he has his CAI he thinks hes running around 14.4... Says his friend timed him out at the strip where everyone goes to race, they marked off a 1/4... I tried not to laugh, but I told him that it was BS, I'll believe it when I see a slip from Moroso, the closest drag strip...
Anyway, how fast are SERs stock, and is the SPECV faster? I checked carstats.com, says 15.4 for a regular SER...

Look for a Nitros bottle for those times a CIA only gets around 10 HP possably a little more.

Its not that I suspect him of having nitrous, I KNOW that he could not have dropped .4 s from a CAI alone! He says he wants to be around 14.2 when he gets his cat-back exhaust next week, from a friend hes buying it for 50$, Get this, he gets more power because it will INCREASE his backpressure... I told him that he was wrong there, and that he is not running those times, especially considering the fact its not a real strip, just a road with a line painted on it 1/4 mile down, someone sits there with a stopwatch I guess...
Also I know there is no way hes a 14.4ish, that would put me around 14.6 with my WAI and SLP!!!!! I can't say how I know this, or the thread will be deleted, but if you really care, just PM me

Manual SE-Rs and Specs are pretty much even. He's full of it saying he ran 14.8s bone stock especially with the humidity in FL. Theres guys running 14.8s with just intake though. But the best time I've seen with full bolt ons is 14.6 I think. Maybe a set of drags you might run 14.3-4 Tell him to go over to www.b15sentra.net and post this I need to get a good laugh lol There is NO way in hell he runs 14.2s with just I/E haha thats funny just thinking about it
Best I've seen one run so far is a 15.09. That's with a header, header back exhaust with free flow cat, and a CAI. The kid was a good driver too. I took him off the line but those things have some O.K. top end.

Ask him how they measured the 1/4 mile. Unless they took a tape wheel all the way down the road that's inaccurate as well. He's gonna tell you they measured it by the car's odometer??? If so they must have jumped out at exactly the second it reached 1/4 mile.
...but that leaves another issue....1/4 mile is not an exact number on your odometer, even if it has tenths

What elevation was that? If its near sea level those times suck I've seen people pull 14.7 with i/h/e

I run consistant 14.8's after dropping over $1k on mods & I'm a damn good driver ;) Your bud sounds like a little ricer phag... Take him to the track & let him get a slip for real. Then you can call him a dumbass & laugh at him ;)
