Window Tint?

Anyone around Metro Detroit know of any place I can get my windows tinted at a reasonable price? I am not about to attempt to do it myself. I have a 4 door, so I want to do the back dark and the front as dark as "legaly" possible. Does anyone know the limits here?

MI limits suck.....just get 20% all around you'll be tight....Since your on the west side I can't help ya on a good local place. Be sure to get the Titanium tint...has metal in it gaurenteed NEVER to fade:thumbs: Worth the extra $ from what I've seen.

MGAC highly recommends SunShade Window Tinting, but they are in Troy, MI on 15 Mile Rd between Crooks and Livernois.

A lot of us have had our windows tinted there, and they do excellent work!!

XDC just quoted my boy $190 for his 4 door.

I think Sunshade is $220 for a 2-door....but thats with titanium tint....XDC's price is without

Sounds to me like XDC is cheaper but Sunshade may be better....

Yeah, SunShade is more expensive...but IMO, its worth it. I paid $219, but I DON'T have Titanium, I just have the regular, which is fine for me. A couple other guys on here have the Titanium from there, and I believe its a lot more...I'm sure someone will post once they see this.

The guy that sits next to me here at work got the Titanium from sunshade for his F-150.....just the front 2 windows...but it looks really good. I was checking it out yesterday....I like how they leave no gap between the end of the tint and the edge of the window....really nice job:thumbs:

They charged him $100 for 2 F-150 windows with the Ti tint.....what that has anything to do with a GA I have no idea;)

XDC's price in a 4 door grand am with titanium is 210 i think chris from xdc does and excellent tint job and i wouldn't trust anyone with my car but him

my tint is the titanium, try to go to a place that has the best reputation, the guy i go to does them so perfect, it looks like i have 5% glass, like when you roll the window down a bit, there is no space between where the tint ends and the top of the window, i think he actually takes the windows out or somthing

I'll be taking mine to Sunshade next week! :D But I'm going light. 50% all the way around. Sunshade does offer a warranty to any going 35% or lighter. If you are pulled over and get a "fix it" ticket, they will pull it off and put it back on for free! :)

XDC....... chris just won a major tint competition. and guess what cars they used. all new grand am's. with all the ga's i pull in here. its like one of his favorite cars to tint. platinum or mirror tint is $210 for a 4 door.
