I just got me some 100/80 watt eurolite xenon crystal bulbs, and i am wondering if they will fry my harness, or mess something else up. And if they can, how much would it be to fix, cause if its too much ill just take em back. Also, is there anything i can do to prevent them from messing ne thing up.

stock W is 65/55, and those are higher wattage. So you have a good chance of frying eventually your harness. People have said this, and more than just a few have experienced it.
You CAN prevent it from happening buy buying a thicker gauage headlight harness. Then you'll be fine. If you fry the stock one, i'm sure it costs enough money from the dealership to make you wish you never burned the first one up

grrrr, where can i buy a upgraded one, and how much do they run?

You can't get an upgrade one because our headlights use a ground switched relay to operate. All the upgradewiring harnesses don't use that type of relay. So you are pretty much SOL unless you build your own. I had a guy working on it, but he didn't have a GA to test and keep working on it, so it never got made. :(

do GTP's have the same ground control relay also? cuz some guy i know got HIDs in his GTP and bought a higher wattage harness for them, i guess that may be something special for HID's if GTP's have these ground relays also?

You don't really need that, HID ballasts won't use any more power/current than stock headlamps. In fact they use less (35 watts).

I have the Eurolite 100/80 in my GASE and I've had no problems with them (knock, on wood). Now I'm not saying that you'll have no problems but things that helped me is that I upgraded all my battery wires in my car....grounds too....to all 4 gauge. You have to go to the starter, to the alternater, and to the fuse box under the hood. Also the grounds too....no just the one to the battery. You have to do the ones to the starter, and the ones from the engine and tranny too. I'm not saying the this is the fix for it...but it will help, not just with the headlights, but the engine too...less resistance = more power.
Hope that helps

does anyone know the difference between the xenon crystal and the xenon fusion eurolite bulbs, they look the same.

I'm not sure if this is right or not, but doesn't the fusion have a purple tint to them....I dunno about the crystal ones.

My Eurolites are blue/white. But more white then blue. They look pretty good. I live out in the boonies so the bright lights help out alot.

I have had the Eurolite xenon crystal 100/80 in my GAGT for well over a year without any problems. No wiring upgrades either.

Well I traded mine back in for 55/65 watt one, just cause I really don't wanna risk damaging my car and wasting more $ on headlights (already spent 30 on silverstars and all they are is a brighter yellow color).
BTW - how do they look at night, like what color do they look?

They're bright white, not yellowish like stock bulbs.

is there a blue tint to em???

Yes, they have blue tint on them. There's just a bit of blue when the lights are on. When compared to stock bulbs, the Eurolite Xenon Crystal 100/80 shine whiter on the road and have somewhat of blueish/white tint when looking straight at them.

Last night I went to AutoZone and bought the socket and replaced it and now everything works fine. It even turned of my SVS light that was constantly on since this happened. Easy three wire fix. Didn't mess up anything past the socket, thank god. Now I installed the Hiper lights and they are way better and brighter even with the lower wattage, but they cost a little more.
If you're going to use a replacment harness for the lights, you will probably have to disable the DRL's so you don't get a SVS light.

I used the APC 80/100 watt bulbs and fried my BCM. Luckily my harness was okay, because that would have been a ***** to install. I had a guy at work reprogram that with a Tech 2, so it wasn't too bad.
