Keyless entryand trunk release broken.

I put new kappas in my doors and since then, my keyless entry and interior trunk release have not worked. In the drivers side door I believe is where the wires for these functions are, does anyone know what color wires they are? Maybe I messed up the wires. Or could it be the black box in the rear deck that also contols these functions?

I have changed the transmitter battery and know it is not the problem, and when I tried to reprogram the transmitter I heard a noise in the dash like it was getting power and trying to work. Also, the locks still work from inside the car.

Have you checked the fuse in the left hand fuse panel for the keyless entry? It should be a 20 amp fuse. It controls the keyless entry recevier and supplies power to the factory amp as well.

Check your trunk amp on the driver side fuse panel. I have the same exact problem and still have yet to find a solution for the past 3 months. Dealer said theres a short somewhere. If you findn out anything, tell me about it.
