View Full Version : Brakes got UPgraded in 2000

Just changed the brakes on a 2000 SE and the pads are freaken huge compared to the 1999 pad size. Larger pads and more surface area. I just thought this was interesting. The car always did seem to stop VERY FAST.

They look to me like they have a close to the same contact area.
Is it me or is the above pad the INSIDE pad and the other is the outside pad.....I could be wrong...but I thought the inside and ouside (of the rotor) pads were a tad different.
