Is it pretty expensive stuff? Where did you buy it?

It does work well. Mother's products are not bad at all.

1st: Cleaner Wax
2nd: Sealer and Glaze
3rd: Caunuba wax (spelling?)

Looks amazing, better than new. Lots of work though witht he 3 stages.

sealer glaze, thats what it is, my car was doused with light scratches all over - so many scratches that i just stopped caring, i mean the car looks immaculate 5 feet away, 5 inches away i want to cry... but i am not perfect so i wont expect my car to be, a few minor scratches are liveable, the KEYING marks on my passenger rear 1/4 have to die tho... those are getting fixed..

yeah anyway, the stuff is i dunno how much my dad made me use it it cant be that expensive...

I used to use the Mother's Sealer and Glaze on my last car. I thought it was pretty damned good. Just like you said: From five feet away, the car looked immaculate, but from five inches, not so much. I then discovered Zaino Z-5. Man... Mother's can't hold a flame to Z-5. My car had horrible swirl/wash marks all over it. I put on three good coats of Z-5. From five feet it looked flawless and from five inches... Still flawless. It's costly, but Zaino is definitely worth it. :D

I like to think I am the detailing guru, but some of you might not agree.....At any rate I will post my thoughts on this particualr product. For the most part, consealers do just that-conseal. They have a very high oil content that fills the scratches, swirls, etc. It will look for for a little while, but the oils will eventually evaporate and you will be forced to reapply the product if you want it to look good again. I am not sayhing these products are bad, persay, but they just hide things. If you really want to remove blemishes, you would be best off with a rotary or random orbit buffer. However, if these aren't available, the product you used will work just fine. Again, not a flame, just an informative post. Mothers is not bad at all, and just as good as any other "off-the-shelf" wax.

Brett
