Right Mirror Broke..

Well, it's 1997 Grand Am GT Coupe...

My friend was leaning against my car last night-and walked away-bumped my right side mirror-and it broke..

now like in peices, but just like almost fell off...just the bottom of it was still connected...

well-they caulked it-taped it up-till i go to the Pontiac Dealer tomorrow..

how much do u think one of these mirriors cost? what holds them on? seems like just Glue...

btw it's not an electris mirror either...

any ideas? thanx

The one on my 99 came off in a car wash... Held on by three plastic (flimsy) bolts. To get a new one, and get it installed was like 90 bucks.

Make sure you tape it firmly and wrap the mirror with cloth or something. If it ever falls off and touches the metal surface when you are driving, it will scratch the hell out of your door. I have seen it happen to other people's cars.


My left mirror seems kinda loose. It kinda shakes a little bit when I close the door. I think some ****er dinged my mirror with a door because I can see a scratch on it. I hate retarded people that don't even know how not to ding other's cars. It just ****es me off.

Holy crap my mirror was only $50 uninstalled (only 3 bolts)
