Oh my....
Well this last weekend I went on a little weekend vacation and on Saturday afternoon I had nothing to do. So I was crusin down the road and I looked into a ford dealers window and there was a blue mustang i have never saw before. Anyways so i go in there and i so the shaker hood on it. So I put on my (I am going to buy the car can I take it for a spin act) so to my surprise they didnt even come with me when i took it. But i have to say i am impressed with this things performance it has 307 horses under the hood and i was spinning the tires pretty good. Has anyone else been in one of the mach 1's??

Yeah, I took one out today. Black one. Not bad but doesn't compare to the SVT Cobra or even the lightning (which is almost the same price) for that matter.

The wheels on the Mach 1 look like complete ASS!!! Is Ford trying to make all there cars look like crap??? Every year and new version Mustang that comes out, the wheels look more and more like crap!

You know, I didn't even pay much attention to the wheels but now that you mention it I agree.

Yeah, The Mach 1 wheels suck. But as cheap as factory rims are, it would be easy to change them to some thing cool. Also saw one at the track for the fist time. This lady was driving it and said she used it in SCCA events but it was her first time at the track. It went a 14.00@104.50. Not a bad MPH for a stock NA car. I bet it had a lot more in it.

My local Ford dealer was adding several thousand bucks market adjustment to the price. How absurd.

Not that absurd considering how much demand there is for em

Law of economic supply and demand, I guess.

How in the world did you get the dealership to let you take one out? The Mach I's around here wont touch the pavement unless someone shows some green.
As for the prices i would rather spend the few extra G's for the Cobra:D
edit: ford annouced that due to the demand for the Mach I it will be continued in 2004 with special paint schemes
