OKay i just installed the kit now on my 99. The cars starts thanks god. theres no DRL's. The head lights are very dim though then the SVS light comes on. I turn the car off and the DIM headlights come on and wont go off w/ out disconnecting the batt. I doubled checked my wireing and nothing poped out at me. Also could i use a wire nut instead of the blue splicer things? Thanks Justin

Don't you dare use a wire nut in a car.

Triple check crimps and connections, 99% of the problems are with that. They test the kits before shipping but I suppose somehow during shipping theres a slight chance of damage?

Shoot Mike & Kent a PM / email they are quick to respond generally.

Yes, definately check the crimps! I am crimp god and command you to! That solved all my problems, that and the fact that someone were a few wires I crimped wrong.

If you have to crimp the whole thing over again -- or solder.

Just make sure all the wires are hooked up the way they should be and then check to make sure you have good crimps..

And, as Seth said, try shooting Mike and Kent an e-mail/PM.

Not sure what motivated you to do that but as long as connections are good...

Adding wire won't hurt it... A couple of my wires were on their last limb and I added wire on to them so I had more room to play with. Works like a charm.

Well, if you know how to solder, then yes! Otherwise practice before you do. I wish I would have done it now, but I didn't know how to at the time. Hell, I still can't hold the soldering pen and try to connect two wires.. I always leave it in it's cradle and do it like that.. haha

like when you have to spilce in to one...like you have the one from the kit that has to be spliced in to the harness one. just kit the harness and soder them that way.

Damn, everyone beat me to the punch...

Fortunately, the relay pin was covered in item #1 of my 'Things to Check' email I just sent you.

Doesn't take much to miss something on the kit install. There is SOOOO much to pay attention to, I still miss one here or there. Thanks for all the help Seth, Michael... ya got my back while I'm at work!

Glad you got it working. Let me know if I can help on anything else.
