The Milwaukee Meet will be held May 10th at Target Store parking lot just off of Hwy 100 in Greenfield. The meet will start at 3:30pm and probably go well into the evening. I picked this location because it is right off the local cruising strip and there are plenty of places to hang out and get food on the strip. Plus we will also have sort of a sheilded retreat from the strip if people don't feel like cruising.
I have gotten us verbal permission to use the unoccupied portion of the lot for this gathering. However we do not have legal permission or written permission. The store manager told me that Target has no signs stating loitering statues, and he gave me his word no one at the store will call the cops unless some sort of disturbing behavior is observed by store employees. He also stated that if the Hwy 100 cops were to bother us for loitering reasons and we were not disturbing in anyway that he would tell the questioning officers that we are OK to be in the lot.
