I like it. The fastest car not talking top speed but 0-150 is the Lingenfelter Corvette. That is what I would take first. Something about VW making that car scares me.

I thought VW's were stong built cars, or atleast the engines? But I may be wrong?

Sledgehammer Vette.
It may not hold the record anymore for fastest, but damn. 258mph out of a vette is impressive anyway you look at it. Hell, anything out of Lingenfelters hands is impressive.

How do you define fast? Acceleration from 0-60? 0-100? 0-150? 1/4 mile ET? Standing mile? Top speed? Fastest around a road course? Way to many variables.
I haven't seen much instrumented testing of the Bugatti, but until I do, my vote for the all-around fastest street car is still the McLaren F1.

I can't believe I actually forgot about that car. That is one badass car. Too bad they were only like 1.3 mil when they were in production...

Compare bang for the buck. Vey quick. That is on stock corvette wheels. Drag slicks but no wider of a tire. Imagine if you could really hook up that car.

When you can go 0-100 almost a second quicker than we can hit 60 that is fast.

There are different packages for Lingenfelter. One package with the TT 427 LS1 the car did 9.2 @ 150 mph in the 1/4. 0-60 1.9 seconds, top speed 240 mph. :D What a ride!
John Lingenfelter is a GOD!
i got an 8.95 @ 153.63 vid of the same car

That was the "base package" specs I gave. The 427 was faster. To put it into prespective it outran an F-18 fighter Jet on takeoff. Not bad for a car. Faster 0-60 than any crotch rocket and it weights about 3,000 LBS more.

All these cars are in the "world's least affordable street cars" category as well.

yea, but its no 300,000+ car. Its like the cost of a real Hummer. Not even a 911 price.

Will this car actually be made? And will it be available here? I love the car's looks, especially in the rear. So much so that I made it my wallpaper on my desktop. :D

Yes, the car was made by Calloway. It was a 1988 Corvette. Not bad for an "older" vehicle.

And I thought it was a concept. Are you sure it's going to look like that as a production model??? And 2003? Shouldn't it be 2004?

I am not sure how Bugatti runs there Production line...you see very few cars come through them as it is...I personally think that they are running it like the Early mustang with the Production beginning in the middle of the year!
