Got a question, I have a 97 se with a 2.4 This morning, the front exaust pipe disconnected from the exaust manifold. My question is this, is the flex pipe welded to the flange bolted to the manifold? When I looked at it, it didn't appear as though it was welded, I.E. edges were clean. Anyways below is a rough draft of what I see when I look at it. "side view, not top" The flex pipe appears to have a lip on it, is that what is supposed to be welded to the plate bolted to the manifold?
