THIS SHOW is more what all of us should be getting together to go to. This is a far better show/contest for us ALL than Custom Compact Jam.

We should literally have 20 people in this class this year, regardless of your mods. I was beat out for 1st place by someone with a virtually stock, white, 99+..so I got 2nd

Do they offer a "stock" class? I wouldn't mind going to this but I don't think there's much point competing in a stock GP. Just wondering if they have a non-judged field. :confused:

It's a smaller show, it's all show.. just come as a spectator!

All Grand Am's will be in the same class together, stock or not. I think the GP's are also in there own class.

So they won't stick you in 'Pontiac Modified' if you have a lot done? They did that to me the first year and I was in with a bunch of $50 - $100,000 race cars.

All cars are placed according to make and model...that's it. However, this show is much different than Compact Jam. Attendees are more into stock with a bit of modification and/or lota horsepower (i.e. SC'd Camaro's Firebirds, etc.). To explain it most easily, this event is filled with a majority of people who call things "r i c e" and would love to eat it up with their big V8.

Yeah i went to this show 2 years ago when i still had my 96 GT, and i took 3rd place, pretty much stock!!! Would be nice to see a good Grand Am showing. The people are cool, the cars a great and all GM! You really feel like you fit in, weather your car is bone stock or not. Im hoping to be able to go but im not sure yet.

Im not sure if its professional judged or participant judge.. That ususally takes place on Saturday...from 10-5

i know there is another thread about who all will be staying in the rooms, but since this thread is more active, let's make a list of who all will be staying and what nights they will be staying.
