This may be a stupid question but I want a easy way to clear out my engine bays dirt etc.. I was wondering if I went to a self car wash and hosed it all down would it hurt anything.. I am just wondering because in peoples pics there engine bay is always so clean and I always clean Mine!

Pretty much a water proof engine bay.

Just dont go holding the spray directly on anything electrical or obvious. Try to stay away from alt, coils, sensors etc.........
Kinda use a swaying motion kinda like you were spray painting.

Only use a moderate degreaser also 01gt1. Nothing too heavy that will kill the paint off your freshly painted mani's:D
and I wouldn't let it sit for too long either.
I just got done my beretta today.

Also highly recommend just a garden hose for those do it yourselfers are high pressure applications especially if you don't know what to stay away from.

Wet down the whole front of your car first before spraying the degreaser.

Let it idle after your done and it will dry itself.

yeah pressure wash is a big risk with all the sensors and small pieces.

I used the engine degresser and it worked great. My engine was pretty dirsty w/ my SD hood.

You will have to use some scrubing, just to make sure it gets up all that grime off the metal, then just hose it off. Might even come out better if you do it twice. The bottle (spray) will give you instructions. :) hope it turns out great.

I have one at home and I put some degreaser on then cover the electrical stuff with towels and just quickly spray it down.
