What a game! Tons of close calls, questionable calls and great playing in overtime.

Ducks 4
Stars 3

0:55 in the 5th overtime (19:05 left). Did anyone else stay up late and watch the game?

I think the goal the ducks scored back in the 3rd overtime (i think) should have counted. The goal was up off the post, but only about one inch.

And the goal for the Stars probably should have counted later on in the 3rd or 4th OT. I didn't see anyone off-sides on that play. Maybe the goal shouldn't have counted, but the call shouldn't have been made. The guy on the far side looked like he was still on the line to me when the puck crossed the blue line at center ice.

The asst. coach for the Ducks use to be the head coach for the local UHL hockey team around here so I guess I'm happy for that team. I'd rather have seen Dallas win, but either way it was a great game!

Well thanks god for me its Pacific Time here on the west coast. I came home from work and it was in the 3rd period i think. i went to sleep and like 2-3 hours later the game was on when i woke up i was like wtf replays? Then they said it wasnt a rebroadcast they were live. it was pretty confusing for a guy just waking up, it threw me off. As for the no goal for the Ducks... NHL rules state that if either the front or back of the net come off the surface of the ice the goal can not be scored, there for it was a good call. I didnt see any one off side either but then again I was still half asleep lol Both anouncers said it was very clearly off side so who knows they are bi-parcial right. :p I agree it was a GREAT game fifth longest in NHL Stanley Cup play off history.

I thought it was very admirable for all the fans to aplaude both teams at the end of the game. Shows alot for the fans that they didnt start throwing stuff or get mad they realized what both teams put in and congratulated it. good for them

I think it was the 4th longest playoff game and 2nd longest game shown on TV. At least I thought they said 4th and not 5th?

Ehh who knows... coulda been the 4th they were counting down the games so often it was hard to keep track. 4th or 5th longest game it was one hell of an effort by both teams.
