Anyone use Maguires waxes??? I waxed my car the other day with Maguires #7 first, then used Maguires #26 Yellow Wax over it, car looks awesome!! I keep hearing all this about Zaino and how great it is. My car is White, i dont see how any wax can really bring out the deep color of white??? All it can really do is bring out the shine. Sure if a white car sits for years and gets dull a good wax would help restore it, but under normal circumstances i dont see spending the money for Zaino when i have a white car. Anyone on here with a white car use Zaino???

Yup, I do. And unless something better comes along, I'm going to stick with it.
On the way in to work this morning I stopped at a gas station. The two guys working there commented that I must have spent the entire weekend (we had great weather here) detailing my car because it looked so good. One of them was especially interested in how I got a white car to have the depth you mentioned. They couldn't believe that all I did was wash and Z6. It was even harder to convince them after they got up close touched it--still nice and slick. Haven't done a thorough detailing since November (gonna do it in a couple of weeks), and it still looks like I did it yesterday. Zaino works for me

Meguiars is a great off the shelf wax. Be advised that it won't last as long as a polymer, but I will agree that nothing beats the depth of a carnauba wax. The bottom line is this....Use what looks best to YOU, because in the long run that is all that matters. There is no perfect product!!

I have a white GA, and have been looking for ways to get more depth out of the color too... I see people posting about their "black mirror on wheels," and it makes me jealous... I usually clean my car atleast once a week, but its been raining EVERY FREAKING DAY for a while now, so I havn't had a chance...
I do get complements on how "shiny" my car is though... I put 3 coats of Z2 on, and I wasn't all THAT impressed, but it was nice... I had just as much of a shine with Maguires Deep Crystal 3 step system, with about 2-3 coats on..

I have the Very Black GT and I swear by Maguiars. And if you email them and get a catalog, they will send you a letter with a person to call if you have questions - and they answer, too!:D

I just saw a internet wax poll, Meguiars was a very close second to Zaino as far as who likes what, so it cant be to bad i guess!

I do four steps...the wax cleaner and then the Meguires 3-step process...The shine is unbelievable...although it took me just about 2 days to do...damn tennis elbow:)
But it was WORTH it!!!!

i personally do detailing on the side for spare cash. i have always used meguires on every car i do (except one car that i used Zymol per customers request), and never have had i gotten a complaint. as for wax every car i do receives meguires gold class wax.(beautiful shine, easy to use). but as for everyone else. use what you feel comfortable spending and applying!
Personally, I didn't like their wax. Left a brown haze on my black car that was almost impossible to get rid of. I had to spray the car with detail spray to remove it. It also took a good amount of effort to remove it. ... compared to Zaino.

in my opinion, it is the simplest of all waxes to remove, and i didnt see any brown haze on my black car

I have used Meguiars on my cars for a few years now, I recently switched to Zymol thanks to a friend who can get the stuff cheap. I was not that impressed with the meguiars gold class stuff tho, PITA to remove, left a decent shine after you spent a whole day getting the **** off. Zymol is awesome, little more expensive than Meguairs, but super easy to apply and remove, plus it smells like bannanas and coconuts.

I might have gotten a bad bottle or something, but after a couple emails back and forth from their customer service explaining the problem, they would not stand behind their product and send me a new bottle or a refund.
I do like their vinal treatment... of course, I haven't used the equivalent Zaino product yet either. Every zaino product I have used has been so far and away better. Most recently the leather conditioner. No comparison between MeGuiars GC Leather treatment and Z10.
