Hey guys... just figured I'd mention this one more time since the date is nearing. I know alot of you had expressed interest in the 60º V6 Meet this year when we had discussed it earlier in the year. The original thread was supposed to be made sticky when more info was known, but that never happened. So I just figured I'd bring it back up for those that might still be interested.

The meet is Memorial Day weekend (May 23-25) in St. Thomas, Ontario. All the info for what is planned for the meet is available on our site www.60degreev6.com .... just click on the meet banner at the top of the News section. We are expecting a pretty decent turn out, but who really knows. Even if some of you Canadians can only make it to the drag racing, it would be great to chat with some of you guys. I know that I will be there, along with Ben Phelps (SappySE107), Chris Williams (GPXSS with the 3200 GP 4-door running low-15s NA), Franz Peters (owner of FDP Performance) and Michael McMasters (owner of Fast Forward Performance). Still scheduled to be there is Kimmo Ahola, the engineer behind the FDP/APOC 62mm TBs and the FDP AFPR. He is coming all the way from Finland, and I'm sure he'll be more than willing to talk to you guys about other products he can look into developing for our engines.

Ok, that's all I'm gonna blab about it. If you are interested, check out the site for more info. If you have questions, post them here, on the 60V6 forums (located at GMForums.com) or email/PM Ben or I about it.

Hope to see some of you guys there!!

I'm going along with a few guys from our club. It's only an hour from me too :)

Cool... I knew there were some guys from GrandsOntario going (mainly Overclock This), but it'll be good to see a decent turnout from a local club.

And this is the correct section for it why?

Sorry I won't be able to make it... I have to go party in NJ that weekend :D

I posted it in this section because I couldn't really find a General Area (besides the off-topic) and there isn't an Events area either. So I posted it here since it is, well... a gathering. I figured people that would be interested in GAP might also be interested in the 60º Meet...

Rob, if you can think of a better area for it, go ahead and move it. I tried to find an area where it would be suited well, but this was the only one.

I know alittle bit about your club. I have been to the site a couple of times, trying to find a decent copy of the logo for a possible meet t-shirt. Still looking into it, but nothing is set in stone yet as far as getting the shirts done before the meet.

Not that many people from here are planning to attend, but just figured I'd try one last time. It is now 1 week away. Even if some of the locals just want to stop by for the racing, that would be cool.
