Well, as some of you may know, one of my headlight aimers is stripped. Well, tonight I thought I could adjust it a little by tring to hammer the screw, thus moving the aimer. Well it worked... sort of. After messing with it for a while the piece that connects to the headlight decided it wanted to be a ***** and broke. Needless to say it's totally broke now.

So, for the time being I ghetto rigged it, and tied it to the frame using some electrical wire. It's aimed a little better now :D, but I don't like my car being ghetto rigged. So, I'm debating if I want to call the dealer and order a new headlight Monday, or if I want to leave it ghettofied for the time being until I have more money saved up.

What do you guys think I should do? Anyone want to see pics? haha

u dont need our help for that one bro. if u dont like it rigged like that, then buy a new one. if u dont mind for a while and its not horribly bad, wait then.

im the same way, if something little, like a brake light bulb goes out, i feel like my car is sooo ghetto.

Well, I went driving last night and the headlight housing bounces somewhat. So, I went to the dealer today and ordered a new headlight housing. $245 down the drain :crying:

Yeah, unfortunately I'd still have to buy a stupid headlight :(

True. I've got to buy the retainer rings that hold the bulbs in place. I broke 1 of the fins off. :(

Yeah, I broke two of those things, until I realized how to take them off with no flaw.

Just pull the plug out of the bulb before you take off the retainer ring

lol Yeah, I figured that out on my second attempt. I was like Doh!!! Supposedly, the newer rings that are available now have been strengthened.

It took me like 6 attempts before I figured it out :)

Just installed the headlight today at the dealership :) Unfortunately the techs went home at 4 and I didn't get done installing till like 4:15 :( Oh well, I'm waking up bright and early tomorrow to get them aimed.
